Huge Thanks
Huge thank yous to everyone who helped at the October Show last weekend (3rd and 4th October). There was tremendous support from Club members who all contributed greatly to the smooth and efficient running of the Show. Many competitors commented on the friendliness and helpfulness of members who had talked to them through the day, particularly on Sunday when there were quite a few new competitors to an agility show.
Friday afternoon saw club members helping to set up the show ring and Sunday saw the stalwarts dismantling the same, leaving a clean tidy space for Ardingly Showground.
I would also like to thank Kevin who very kindly sponsored a class for us on Sunday and presented the rosettes and trophies alongside Shaun for the Graded 4,5,6,7 Agility.
Cat Harvey kindly took on the mantle of compere/commentator for the weekend while her dad lay in his sick bed. That was a lot of talking to do over two days!!
Big thanks go to the MDDAC Show Committee who pulled out all stops to help with the background details which make the Show operate so well.
We had four good judges, three of whom were hobbling, Pete dropped a hopper on his foot, Shaun has cartiledge problems and Tricia fell over while competing on Saturday, but despite this they carried on with their agreed appointments. Emily was fit and healthy - and the youngest!! Maybe a clue there?
